Job Title: E-commerce Sales Associate & Social Media Manager (eBay, Etsy, Etc.)

Location: Downtown New Orleans / In Office

Pay: $15-$25 per hour (commensurate with experience)

About Us: We are an industry-leading Precious Metals Company with a growing E-Commerce business specializing in the sale of jewelry, coins, and precious metals. We are looking for a dedicated and efficient E-commerce Sales Associate who is well-versed in e-commerce platforms such as Ebay and Etsy and has a passion for managing online stores. This position offers the opportunity for growth into additional roles as we expand our operations.

Job Description: As our E-commerce Sales Associate, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining active listings across multiple platforms (eBay, Etsy, and others), curating compelling product descriptions, and ensuring our products are showcased beautifully to attract potential buyers. You’ll also be responsible for inventory management, shipping and handling, and supporting our social media presence to drive traffic and sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• E-commerce Sales: Manage and update product listings on eBay, Etsy, and other platforms, ensuring items are accurately described, priced, and categorized.

• Product Photography & Descriptions: Curate high-quality, visually appealing product photos and write engaging, detailed product descriptions.

• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and ensure timely restocking as necessary.

• Shipping & Handling: Prepare orders for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and coordinating with shipping carriers. Ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment.

• Social Media Management: Create and manage engaging content on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest to drive traffic to our e-commerce stores.

• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring positive buyer experiences.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (eBay, Etsy, and similar platforms).

• Strong photography skills with an eye for detail and aesthetic presentation.

• Excellent written communication skills for creating product descriptions and social media content.

• Experience in social media management and content creation.

• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.

• Ability to work independently, stay efficient, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Previous experience in an e-commerce or sales environment is preferred but not required.
