The Junior Backend developer within Entrust Digital Card Services is a member of our highly skilled backend development team. He will take part in structuring projects at the heart of card and payment digital innovation and ensure high quality functional and technical developments.

Within the R&D department, in relation with the DCS backend more experienced developers, the project and production teams, you will contribute to the following missions daily.

Responsibilities:

• Java developments especially on top of Spring Boot framework ... but not only
• Junit automated tests related to its developments.
• Follow-up of secure development rules and good development practices.
• Diagnosis and correction of bugs.
• Code review.
• Participation in sprints.
• Follow-up and fixing continuous integration tests.
• Helping other backend developers and other teams on day-to-day basis.

Basic Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or equivalent degree in a technology discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with JAVA backend developments.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with Junit code testing.
• Good knowledge of SQL and database.
• Curious, enthusiastic, and both product and technically sound.
• Autonomous but real team player, not afraid of challenges.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
• Knowledge of REST Web Services.
• Strong desire for personal advancement.
• Elastic search experience.
