Perinatal Community Health Worker--Hybrid

Heluna Health
Orléans

Description

SUMMARY

SHERO “Shaping Healthy Equitable Reproductive Outcomes” program integrates medicine, public health and prioritizes technology to improve the health, lives and wellbeing of moms-to-be and their babies. SHERO’s vision is to advance equity by eliminating the Black maternal & infant mortality/morbidity crisis across the US.
We are seeking a dynamic, resilient, and trailblazing Perinatal Community Health Worker to join our SHERO NOLA team. This isn’t a typical social services role. This is a high-energy, high-impact opportunity within a startup organization. If you thrive on creativity, adaptability, uncertainty, problem solving and the challenge of building something groundbreaking, this role is for you. We operate with a Lean Start-Up approach implementing agile systems, SCRUMS and Sprints for constant and never-ending innovation and improvement. The person we seek is committed to learning, open to making and learning from mistakes, accountable, adaptable and able to pivot to meet the evolving needs of our team, moms and community. This requires a unique mindset:

• 80 percent mindset, 20 percent skillset.
• Grow more, learn more, be more, do more, give more.
• Give me gold, I’ll give you platinum.

Seeking True SHEROs:

Please note: This isn’t easy work, but it’s deeply rewarding. SHERO NOLA isn’t for those who expect to coast in a traditional role. It’s for those who thrive in fast-paced, innovative, and community-centered environments, who aren’t afraid to make and learn from mistakes, who can pivot quickly, and who embody the true spirit of a SHERO, resilient, creative, and bold. If you’re looking for “just a job,” this isn’t for you. However, if you are seeking a role that demands resilience, endurance, problem-solving, creativity, uncertainty with laser focus on the mission, we invite you to apply. Get ready to be part of a movement where your mindset and dedication can make a real difference.
